Navatanee Golf Course

Navatanee Golf Course is an exclusive course. It was built in 1973 specifically to host the 23rd World Cup of Golf in 1975. The majestic layout was the result of the vision of its Founder, Sukum Navapan, being skillfully brought to life by world-renowned Architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr. s’ philosophy, which was to create a course that was tough for the professional golfers yet provided an enjoyable challenge for golfers of more modest talent. He transformed paddy fields into a 6,902-yard championship course of truly international standards, and his first masterpiece in Asia.

In 1975, the selection of Navatanee by the International Golf Federation to be host venue for the 23rd World Cup of Golf was the most fitting accolade. The event was won by the US team, represented by Johnny Miller, at the peak of his game, and Lou Graham. Navatanee also hosted the Kingdom’s National Open in 1999, in commemoration of His Majesty The King of Thailand’s 6th cycle birthday. In the same year, Navatanee was ranked among top courses in the mainland Thailand by Golf Digest USA.

Such rich history, coupled with the striking beauty of the ‘Flame of the Forest’ and Rosewood trees and vivid arrays of bougainvillea that adorn the fairways, creates a perfect harmony of serenity and challenge that enchants golfers from all over the world. The signature 6th hole is a daunting 445 yards par-4 that demands a draw-shaped shot from the tee in order to reach the green in regulation. However, with water guarding both the entire left side of the fairway and another lake fronting the green in a sweeping reverse ‘S’ shape, making par on this hole is a notable achievement!

Aside from its proximity to central Bangkok, the course’s prestigious nature means that it is possible to enjoy a round within 4 hours.
A monster and possibly one of Asia's best holes. Water guards the left side, crosses the fairway and solitary bunker of a two tierred green. A very accurate drive to the green and a good putt is required for par 4.

Navatanee has become a legendary course in Thailand that simply must be experienced.

Alpine Golf Club

At Alpine Golf Club , you will feel warmly welcome to experience the true sensation of playing golf in Thailand's one of the best international golf course.

Created originally from flat rice paddy fields to a hilly and undulating layout, Alpine Golf Club is Thailand's one of finest golf courses with over 3 years of proven experience of offering its members a new dimension of golf challenge beyond expectation. The course was designed by one of the world's most renowned architects Mr. Ron M. Garl. Once he set feet on the 770-rai flat open land of Today's Alpine Golf Club, the architect's vision was to build Thailand's one and only man-made hilly championship golf course. The course designer came up with carrying out the impossible task of building grass-covered hills on the vast flatlands, topped by hundreds of hand-picked trees and refined with high-grade sand. All these were aimed to introduce golfers to many unexpected golf challenges at Alpine Club.

In view of his extensive experience of creating a hilly layout from flat terrains in Florida, Mr. Ron M. Garl was chosen to build this unique golf course in Northern Bangkok where golf challenges will be offered to all golfers. Alpine Golf Club is in fact the first project in Asia ever carried out by this well-known architect. His concept was to build a hilly golf course amidst fresh air, beautiful lakes and dazzling tree-lined scenery. This championship layout measures 7,100 yards in length with par 72. Good shots will be rewarded while badly placed shots held subject to costly penalties. Golfers privileged to play on Alpine golf course will have an unforgettable experience of having their golf skills challenged.

Hills may remind you of fairway places like Chiang Mai, Hua Hin or even Myrtle Beach. Located only a 15-minute drive from the Bangkok International Airport is this picturesque hilly golf course created from flat rice paddy fields. Difficulties can be found in an extensive number of challenges offered at Alpine golf course not in how to get to the course itself. Each swing must be precisely calculated to avoid costly penalties. At Alpine Golf Club, your golf experience can always be fulfilled.

You may want to practise several swings in stunning scenery before heading off to measure your real performance in Alpine Golf's 18 hols of fame. Personal victory will ultimately be yours when you can cross the stretch of each fairway and overcome each and every obstacle carefully located for the sign-off performance on the green. All these were designed exclusively for Alpine Golf Club, incorporating course features from the world's many leading golf courses.
Your precision will be well tested on Alpine's tricky greens in reclining slopes behind hills or on bunkers or the lake beyond.

Undoubtedly, challenges at Alpine Golf Club made Alpine the venue of the 13th Asian Games in 1998 and for other important international tournaments such as the Thailand Major Open Tournament of 1997 and 1998, Thai Airways PGA Tournament and Johnnie Walker Classic Tournament in 2000.
